At Green Gecko Gardens, we pride ourselves on delivering the results our clients envision — especially when previous work hasn’t met expectations. For this Kumeū property, the homeowners approached us to complete and elevate their outdoor space to the standard they originally hoped for.

We transformed the back lawn from compacted clay and dirt into a healthy, lush fescue turf, complete with timber edging to provide clean separation and improved drainage. Along the east and south boundaries, we constructed custom timber garden boxes filled with quality vegetable mix, ready for planting and productive use.

In the spa area, we restored the privacy screen by replacing missing slats and installed a custom two-tier planter box, also filled with vegetable mix to enhance both functionality and visual appeal. New paving and decorative pebbles created a smooth, practical walkway, improving flow and usability around the spa zone.

At the front of the property, we carried out a garden refresh — removing unwanted plants, thorough weeding, and installing new hedging for structure and street appeal. A small paved pathway was added leading to a water feature, finished with two complementary pebble sizes for a refined, cohesive look.

The result is a well-balanced outdoor space that blends practicality, productivity, and clean design — giving the clients a functional and inviting garden to enjoy for years to come.
